The Community Service committee sponsors various events throughout the year in support of the community. For more information, please contact Lynn Farina, chair.
The next event we have planned is to walk in the Great Strides Walk for CF. As many of you know this organization is near and dear to both Deb Feinberg and Maggie Ruff. Please go to the website to sign up. www.cff.org/Great_Strides . The walk will be held on April 18, 2010 with registration being at 11:00 AM. We hope to see many of you there.
Many thanks to those who helped with the gift wrapping for Cerebral Palsy. A good time was had by all.
Also, many many thanks to those who participated in the giving program for the YWCA. I wish we could have seen the faces of the family we helped but the faces of the workers when I dropped off the items to them was well worth the effort.
Please remember we are continuing to collect non perishable food items for the food bank and old cell phones for the YWCA. Bring them to board or membership meetings.
